Job Type:
Responsibilities:
- Work with electric vehicles, for which we will provide training
- Use your technical knowledge and skills
- Work independently in a busy, active environment. Interpret and implement technical information
- Carry out repairs to safety/MOT/manufacturer/warranty standards
- Diagnose faults and have excellent working methods and standards
- Report faults and service requirements
- Obtain appropriate authorisation if additional work is required on a vehicle
- Undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test completed repairs
- Servicing, repairs, fitting of accessories and PDI’s on new and used vehicles
- Be open to try new methods of work designed to improve efficiency
- Apply learning and experience when diagnosing faults
- Believe in the “Fixed first time” approach
Requirements:
- Possess good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information accurately and concisely
- Honest with high levels of integrity
- Team player – assist other technicians when workshop is under pressure.
- Thorough and able to work with defined processes and guidelines
- Committed to the development and improvement of your technical knowledge and skills
- Full driving licence
- Minimum 4 years' experience working within a workshop environment with a strong knowledge of routine servicing and mechanical repairs
- MOT accreditation or the willingness to become MOT accredited
