Level 3 Technician - Corkills Southport, Wigan & Northwich

Job Type:

Full-time, permanent

Responsibilities:

Work with electric vehicles, for which we will provide training
Use your technical knowledge and skills
Work independently in a busy, active environment. Interpret and implement technical information
Carry out repairs to safety/MOT/manufacturer/warranty standards
Diagnose faults and have excellent working methods and standards
Report faults and service requirements
Obtain appropriate authorisation if additional work is required on a vehicle
Undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test completed repairs
Servicing, repairs, fitting of accessories and PDI’s on new and used vehicles
Be open to try new methods of work designed to improve efficiency
Apply learning and experience when diagnosing faults
Believe in the “Fixed first time” approach

Requirements:

Possess good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information accurately and concisely
Honest with high levels of integrity
Team player – assist other technicians when workshop is under pressure.
Thorough and able to work with defined processes and guidelines
Committed to the development and improvement of your technical knowledge and skills
Full driving licence
Minimum 4 years' experience working within a workshop environment with a strong knowledge of routine servicing and mechanical repairs
MOT accreditation or the willingness to become MOT accredited
